Walking Billboards: Neat Concept, Poor Execution

Submitted by Ari on Wed, 03/28/2007 - 10:42.

Old news, but still interesting - Jian Shuo Wang (A Microsoft Employee in China, if I remember correctly) noticed some strange men walking around Shanghai one night:

Turns out these spacemen were "walking billboards", hired by the Shanghai police to let the public know about something. Those are LCD screens and power sources strapped to their bodies.

Jian Shuo Wang didn't know what exactly the billboards said though, as the text on the screens were too small to read from anywhere but very close.

Neat concept, poor execution.
